| Aim |
Motivate rural school children to participate in the energy
efficiency through a survey in Agriculture sector.
- Help develop their knowledge on various aspects of energy
as is being used in Agriculture Sector.
- Help develop their communication skills, analyzing skills
and thus their self-confidence.
- Help develop them as young ambassadors of PCRA.
- Help develop children's self-learning acumen.

| Salient Features |
- School principal will nominate a group of 10 to 20 children
for carrying out the survey.
- School principal will also nominate a teacher to be associated
with the survey exercise
- Children in a team of 2-3 will carry out a detailed survey
through a questionnaire to individual farmers.
- One school is expected to collect data of 150 - 200 farmers
- Children will then analyze the collected data with the
help of their teacher Incharge to reach certain meaningful
conclusions.
- Teacher Incharge will prepare a report of their findings,
analysis & conclusion and all the back up questionnaire
should be annexed to it.
- Teacher Incharge should discuss the report with school
principal & the PCRA representative before submission
of the report.
- Data collected will help PCRA develop new schemes/ modify
existing schemes for energy efficiency in the Agriculture
sector.

| Remuneration |
| Remuneration to school for conducting one survey:
- Rs.5000/- for report writing and spending as gift/ awards/
snacks for children/ stationary / farmer meeting.
- Rs.1000/- for teacher for close monitoring and assistance
- Rs.2000/- for any improvement in the school for energy
conservation (including library books).
- Total - Rs.8,000/- per survey.
