The entire activity of this Computer Centre is primarily for the computerized data storage and analysis of the geological data collected from the field.

Electricity and HSD are the main sources of energy. The total electricity consumption in this building per annum is about 620988 KWH. About 20 KL (approx) of HSD us used for the DG sets per annum.

A comprehensive energy conservation study of the plant was carried out by PCRA to identify potential areas foe energy conservation and recommend energy savings measures along with cost benefit analysis. PCRA’s audit finding highlights potential savings of Rs. 3 lac at an investment of Rs. 8 lac from 5 proposals (i.e. 34120 KWH of electricity and 5 KL of HSD against the annual consumption of 620988 KWH of electricity and 20 KL of HSD, which works out to 5.49% and 25% of annual electricity and HSD Consumption), covering the following areas:
