The Energy audit is carried out by PCRA in a private, non-profit
philanthropic organization dedicated to international peace
and advancement of human welfare. The organisation was established
in India in 1952 and since 1972, it has functioned mainly
by giving grants to Research Institute, Non Government Organizations,
Government Agencies and Universities.
The electricity is the main source of energy. PCRA carried
out a comprehensive energy conservation study of the organisation
to identify potential areas of energy conservation and recommend
energy savings measures along with cost benefit analysis.
PCRA’s audit finding highlights potential savings of
Rs. 3.63 lacs by saving 83445 kwh from our 4 proposals, covering
the following areas -
