The industries having annual fuel oil consumption of less than 250 KL are classified as Small Scale Industries for the purpose of categorization of PCRA studies in industrial sector. In these studies the existing fuel oil utilization and house keeping practices are assessed and demonstration on house keeping measures and fuel-efficient operating practices, which would result in fuel oil economy, are conducted for the benefit of the operating personnel in these industries. A summary report incorporating recommendations is submitted to industry after completion of study normally within a week.
